Lamb Meatballs in Tomato Sauce with Mashed Potatoes

One Sunday evening, Mom was about to prepare dinner when she realized she forgot to go to the store. Of course, by that time, grocers were closed so she was left with no choice but to do what she did best: whip something out of thin air.
